  1. Add butter to saucepan and heat on low until all butter has melted (not burned)
  2. Increase heat to medium and add peppers - sauté for 2 minutes
  3. Add onions - sauté until soft and translucent
  4. Add clams - sauté 2 min until heated through
  5. Add breadcrumbs and clam juice to desired consistency
  6. Add salt & pepper to taste
  7. Fill clam shells and serve with lemon wedges
