Korean Flank Steak

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce ((Use low-sodium))
  • 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Olive Oil or Sesame Oil
  • 3 tablespoons Sesame Seeds
  • 2 tablespoons Ginger, Minced Garlic
  • 1 Large Flank Steak
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a gallon-size food storage bag
  2. Season steak with salt and pepper and add to the bag. Marinate up to a day ahead.
  3. Remove steak from bag and pat dry – saving marinade. Let sit at room temperature for at least 10 minutes.
  4. Score Flank steak on a diagonal across entire steak – both sides.
  5. Grill, brushing steak with marinade, to desired temperature. Enjoy!
Note

Flank steak can be tough.  Add a few tablespoons of sake or white wine.
